Get More "Likes" With all your Lenses!

Social media is about spreading the word by way of online mediums. What better way to get the word out about your Facebook Fan Page then to add a "Like" box to your Squidoo lenses. Not only are you gonna be able to give your page contact with Squidoo massive lens creators, but you will also be giving new potential fans a way to support you without leaving your lens. This lens is an easy comprehensive how to on adding a "like" box to your Squidoo lens. Here you can find http://www.fanbox.net/Fanbox/en/index.html.

Adding Your Facebook Page

After getting created a Facebook page and received at least 25 "Likes" you may well customize your URL, this is an important step to so that you can add some sort of "Like" box to other sites. This will help to improve your page's visibility and also the likelihood that a visit will click "like" and be a fan of your page. Once you've efficiently created your page, got 25 "likes", and created a user-friendly straightforward to remember username you can move on to adding a like box to your lens. Just go to the edit profile section of your Facebook page and then go through the resources tab. You will then be able to create an easy to consider username for your page.

As you're constructing your lens add this Facebook Fan Box component. The module instructions, as soon as you go in to add your page, will ask for code or for the URL to your page. Here's the challenging part, the instructions don't reveal two very important things. First, use the URL of your page to add it to your Facebook Fan Box component. I spent a couple of hours figuring this out. Second, you have to sign into your page and visit edit page to get an identifying group of numbers. Once you have the following your URL should look like this "http: //www. facebook. com/yourpagename/pages/1234567890278401".

Once you have this URL click below the Facebook Page Identifier and add the URL to the box and then mouse click locate. It's that easy to add your fan page to your lens. You can preview the lens or publish it to view the actual fan box in the lens.

Adding your page is not only a great way to gain traffic and fans just about all allows you to really utilize the way social media can link your efforts together. I also recommend people adding the Twitter module but I will save that for another lens!
